UPDATE ON THE RYAN CONDO IS IN!!…12/14/2012
The transformation is now in motion!! Our designers have planned their work, and are now working their plan!

Meet the Ryan sisters, owners of a beautiful Island Reef, 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in Siesta Key, Florida. The five sisters Patty, Joanne, Mary, Kathy, and Jean, only indulging in their coastal living at certain times of the year, desired to remodel the space to their comfort, and liking. Yes, Christmas is around the corner, but the greatest gift can’t fit under the tree! Through the collaboration of the Ryan’s and the designers of Andrea Lauren Elegant Interiors, a lingering touch of anticipation and excitement is in the air for the completed remodel by the end of January, 2013.
Andrea Lauren Elegant Interiors met with the sisters for an initial complimentary consultation to get a feel of their personalities, goals, likes, dislikes, styles, and desired functionality for the condo. The merge of just two personalities could seem to be difficult to the average person, but our designers were very successful in constructing a Transitional design that all five sisters pleasingly approved of, and gave the green light for December, 10, 2012 as a start date.
Of course having five siblings would mean lots of children, and grandchildren. Therefore, the functionality of the entire project primarily focuses towards being kid friendly, and comfortable for several people to live in for extended periods of time.
What’s in store for the remodel plans??
Well, eliminating the inconvenient laundry space, originally placed in the kitchen, and moving it to the eat-in area brought slight modifications to the floor plans. New cabinetry, a stainless steel Farmhouse sink, sparkling white quartz countertops, and a decorative backsplash for the kitchen area. Cork flooring throughout the entire space, with the exception of the bathrooms. The pop-corn ceilings will be scraped, and re-textured along with outdated wallpaper replaced by cool blues, and calming kacky colored paints. For the window treatments, the Ryan sisters expressed the desire for no drapes, but stylish cordless blinds. To top it off, the mood of the condo will be upgraded to ambient lighting, and embellished with decorative ceiling structures in some areas with glowing illuminations.
This project is expected to be one of Andrea Lauren Elegant Interiors greatest success stories for our first quarter in 2013. We pride ourselves on client satisfaction, and are working diligently to create a coastal living space that reeks of our dedication to incorporate the personalities, desired functionality, and true Siesta Key lifestyle of these wonderful sisters.
